Wong Foot Hin co-heads the Corporate & Banking Department at One Legal. 

Foot Hin's key practice areas are in banking, with particular emphasis on bi-lateral and syndicated loan transactions, regional and international banking transactions, private banking, regional project financing, financing of sale and purchase of residential, commercial or industrial properties, restructuring and recovery of debt and equity issues. 

Foot Hin's corporate experience includes public and private M&A, joint venture and shareholder agreements, equity and debt issuances, listings, share capital restructuring and buy-backs. 

Foot Hin also has experience in angel investment, venture capital investment, technology transfer agreements, joint research and development collaboration, sale and purchase, supply of goods and services, franchise and licensing agreements; performance agreements for artistes; protection of IP rights, transfer and assignment of IP rights; and compliance with the Do-Not-Call and Personal Data Protection Act provisions. 

He has represented a wide variety of clients including without limitation, private companies, listed companies, construction companies, technology companies, insurance companies, statutory boards, government linked companies, local and international banks and financial institutions.

Landmark Transactions / Notable Cases

1. Acting for arrangers and agents in multi-million loan facilities to borrowers in Singapore and the region.

2. Acting as Singapore local counsel for banks in the issue of global medium term and deposit note programs.

3. Acting for the managers paying agent, custodian, and reference agent in floating rate non-transferable certificate of trust deposit facility in China.

4. Acting for various companies in the listing of companies in the stock exchange of Singapore as well as in mergers and acquisitions.

5. Acting as counsel for statutory boards and corporates in civil, mechanical and electrical engineering contracts.

6. Acting for media and related companies in licensing agreements for distribution of content, production music, channels, screens, advertising, sponsorship, mobile distribution, video feeds and others.

7. Acting in joint ventures, investment agreements, tenancies, registration and protection of intellectual property rights such as trademarks, patents and designs.

8. Construction contracts for mechanical, engineering and civil works.

9. Advisory work and drafting of a manual for compliance with the Data Protection Act.
