Regina Quek
Director and Head of the Intellectual Property Practice, advising on the protection, exploitation and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Singapore and internationally. She currently serves as Secretary General of AIPPI.
Regina Quek is a Director and Head of the Intellectual Property Practice at One Legal LLC. She has over 30 years of experience in intellectual property matters, having established and headed the intellectual property department in two general practice law firms in Singapore before establishing One Legal LLC. She is widely recognised for her expertise in the protection, exploitation and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Singapore and internationally.
Her clients span the automobile, energy, shipping, aviation, pharmaceutical, information technology and telecommunications, food and beverage, fashion and consumer products, hospitality and entertainment sectors, as well as academic and research institutions.
Under her leadership, One Legal LLC’s intellectual property practice has been consistently recognised among Singapore’s leading intellectual property practices. Regina is also a registered patent agent in Singapore. She completed the South East Asian Drafting Course in 1997 and received the Bernard Fisher Scholarship for Best Student Performance.
Regina regularly speaks and moderates at intellectual property seminars and forums in Singapore and overseas. Her engagements have included conferences and meetings organised by AIPPI, INTA, MARQUES and the Centre for International Legal Studies, as well as intellectual property and branding events around the world.
She contributes to international legal publications and comparative guides on Singapore intellectual property law. Her work has included chapters on copyright, patent and trade mark litigation for Thomson Reuters Practical Law Global Guides, The European Lawyer Reference series and the Getting the Deal Through series, alongside contributions to trade mark and intellectual property publications.
Regina was instrumental in establishing AIPPI Singapore and served as its founding president for three terms from 1998 to 2008. She has held a number of international AIPPI committee appointments and currently serves as Secretary General of AIPPI, a position she has held since 2025. She has also served on INTA committees and is active in Singapore’s intellectual property community.
Regina is involved in pro bono legal services and has provided intellectual property advice to AkarakA Limited, an organisation that helps underprivileged children and young adults pursue a formal education.
