Genevieve has more than 10 years of experience in intellectual property practice, covering trade marks, copyright, designs, patents, and intellectual property licensing and transactional matters.

She advises local and multinational clients on the protection, management and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Singapore and internationally. Her trade mark practice includes brand clearance and registrability advice, prosecution, opposition and invalidation proceedings, enforcement and anti-counterfeiting matters. She also manages international trade mark portfolios covering jurisdictions including Southeast Asia, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom.

Her practice also extends to copyright, designs and patents. She advises on copyright and design protection and enforcement, assists with design and patent prosecution in Singapore and overseas, and advises on patent enforcement matters. Genevieve also drafts and reviews coexistence agreements, licences and assignments, and advises on patent licensing and research collaboration arrangements.

She also assists with cross-jurisdictional mediation and negotiations involving intellectual property disputes.
