Barkha is a patent professional with more than 15 years of experience advising start-ups, research institutions and companies, and helping them develop, protect, and manage their patent portfolios.
Her practice includes patent searches, patentability assessments, patent drafting, freedom-to-operate and infringement analyses, portfolio management, and patent prosecution strategy. Drawing on her experience with international patent matters, she helps clients develop global patent strategies and navigate the requirements of different patent offices.
Barkha holds a master’s degree in biotechnology and a Bachelor of Laws. She has been registered as an Indian Patent Agent since 2009 and a Singapore Foreign Patent Agent since 2014. She is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property and Innovation Management (Patent Agency) at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) prior to qualifying as a patent agent in Singapore.
