Joseph Wong
Joseph Wong is an associate in the Corporate & Banking Department. He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in May 2007 after graduating with a Bachelor of Law from the National University of Singapore, where he had founded the NUS Pro Bono Group.
Upon graduation, Joseph joined a reputable law firm as a pupil and later as an associate in the Regulatory Practice Group, where he specialised in financial services regulations. His area of work focused primarily on the licensing, regulatory capital and conduct of business requirements applicable to banks, securities brokers and other financial institutions.
Subsequently, he joined Globaleye Pte. Ltd. (a start-up company which received its financial adviser’s licence in April 2009) as the Legal & Compliance Counsel. At Globaleye Pte. Ltd., he drafted policy manuals and created |
training materials for the company’s financial advisory representatives and other staff, and advised on the company’s legal agreements with insurance product providers and other vendors.
At One Legal LLC, Joseph is engaged in corporate, banking and capital markets transactions. companies, and joint venture agreements.
