Cheryl Tong
Cheryl read law at the National University of Singapore and graduated with 2nd (Upper) class honours. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 2008.
Cheryl’s experience in intellectual property includes advising and assisting various clients, including government-related entities and multinational companies, on various intellectual property matters, including intellectual property rights protection, trade mark registration, renewal and assignment, international trade mark filings, copyright matters, plant varieties protection matters, copyright and trade mark infringement, trade mark opposition and invalidation, and passing off.
Her experience in other areas of work include drafting and advising on various types of contracts and agreements; conducting due diligence, in particular on intellectual property and information technology issues, for intended |
acquisitions of multinational companies; advising and assisting various clients in relation to compliance with corporate legislation in Singapore, as well as employment, immigration and insolvency matters; and assisting various clients in a variety of legal proceedings, involving enforcement and execution of judgments.
